EF (Education First) Oxford International Language Campus is seeking energetic, outgoing and organised individuals to join our Activities & Events Team as Activities & Events Coordinator for summer 2026. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, planning and delivering a diverse range of activities, events and excursions that create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for our international students outside of class.

Position Details:

  • Full-time
  • 6 days a week
  • Fixed-term contract between June 22nd – August 14th 2026

Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily and evening activities, setting a positive example for Activity Leaders by demonstrating meaningful student engagement and maintaining a strong focus on student welfare and wellbeing.
  • Respond to student and team feedback, adapting activities and approaches to reflect evolving interests and needs.
  • Promote activities and excursions through effective use of social media and other communication tools to ensure all students are informed and encouraged to participate.
  • Collaborate with the Activities & Events Manager to support the smooth and efficient delivery of all activity programs.
  • Plan and deliver interactive games, events and sessions that foster participation, fun and community among students.
  • Ensure all information and schedules for activities and events are accurate, current, and clearly communicated.
  • Assist in observation of activities to ensure they are up to a consistent high standard.
  • Handle issues and respond to emergencies in a calm, professional manner, following appropriate procedures to ensure student safety.
  • A strong attention to health and safety, along with safeguarding and prioritising our student’s wellbeing.
  • Liaise with local, national & international service providers to negotiate rates & uphold strong relationships for our events and activities.
  • Be part of the Emergency Phone rotation.

Requirements:

  • Highly motivated, energetic and positive with a sociable and outgoing personality.
  • Confident in leading and managing groups of students.
  • Highly organised and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervised.
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with ease and remain calm under pressure.
  • Appreciation of cultural differences and sensitive to the needs of international students.
  • A flexible approach to work and hours of work undertaken is essential.
  • Is a trained First Aider (preferable but not essential).
  • All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references.
  • Right to work in the UK on commencement of employment.
