We are looking for a proactive and student-focused Student Engagement Coordinator to support prospective students throughout their journey, from initial enquiry to application. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role requires strong customer service abilities, cross-team collaboration, and comfort working with systems such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Customer Service and Relationship Building: Provide timely, accurate, and empathetic support to prospective students through active listening, information guidance, and effective problem-solving. Respond to student inquiries via WhatsApp, phone, email, and other communication channels with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. Proactive outreach to engaged students to support in the application process. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of programs, application processes, and deadlines to provide accurate guidance to students. Ensure a positive and seamless experience throughout the student journey.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Work closely with regional teams to ensure students' needs are met efficiently. Proactively escalate potential risks, student concerns, and conversion opportunities to appropriate team members and management. Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Data and Technical Operations: Accurately manage student records and engagement activities in Salesforce. Perform timely and precise data entry and reporting to support decision-making and student tracking. Use Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.) to support reporting, document preparation, and information sharing.
- Time Management and Organization: Effectively handle multiple student applications and inquiries simultaneously. Prioritize tasks to ensure deadlines and turnaround times (TAT) are consistently met. Maintain an organized and responsive workflow to manage a high volume of student interactions.
- Targets and Goals: Ensure daily, weekly, monthly KPI’s are met. Contribute to overall team targets and application numbers.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, student engagement or a similar role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
