Full time Associate Operations

Location: Ashridge House, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, HP4 1NS

Reporting to: Director of Food and Beverage

Hours: 6am-6pm/6pm-6am, 4 on, 4 off pattern including weekends.

The Opportunity

The Venue Services Team play a vital part in Ashridge House’s ability to deliver a high level of service to our guests by ensuring all booked areas are set up to detailed specifications, providing first response to any on-site incidents and supporting with security. This is a diverse but challenging role which requires strong organisation, communication, and manual handling skills.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up rooms for weddings, private functions, corporate events, and other activities taking place as per client requirements as well as the clear down of said rooms/activities.
  • Transporting necessary materials around the site.
  • Ensuring the site is safe, clean, and tidy such as waste management (and light maintenance – bulb changes/ AV set ups etc).
  • Being part of a team of first responders for emergencies including first aid, security incidents and fire/building alarms – Team is operational 365 days a year.
  • Completion of health and safety audits.
  • Pro-actively working closely with other departments to ensure a seamless client/guest experience for any event.
