Education First are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Southwark on a long-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Primary Teacher or an enthusiastic ECT looking to develop their teaching career within a supportive school environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, creating a positive classroom environment and supporting pupils to achieve their academic and personal potential.
The Role β Primary Teacher
- * Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum.
- * Teaching pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on experience and school requirements.
- * Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- * Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
- * Differentiating lessons to meet the individual needs and abilities of all pupils.
- * Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining high expectations for learning and conduct.
- * Building strong, positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- * Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching strategies to support learning.
- * Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants and other school staff.
- * Supporting pupils with SEN and additional learning needs where required.
- * Contributing to the wider life of the school and promoting a positive school community.
The Ideal Candidate
- * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification, where required.
- * Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting.
- * Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- * A passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential.
- * Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
- * The ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
- * Strong communication and organisational skills.
- * A patient, caring and adaptable approach to teaching.
- * Experience supporting pupils with SEN is desirable.
- * The ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to a positive school environment.
