Year 4 Teacher – Camden Education First | Camden, North London | Paid to Scale | January Start | 2-Term Contract Year 4 Teacher – Independent School Education First is recruiting an enthusiastic and experienced Year 4 Teacher to join a highly regarded independent school in Camden. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed primary teacher looking for a two-term teaching position starting in January. The Role As a Year 4 Teacher, you will: * Take full responsibility for a Year 4 class * Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons * Teach across the primary curriculum * Differentiate learning to meet individual needs * Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment * Manage behaviour effectively and consistently * Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback * Work closely with teaching assistants and other staff * Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues * Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development * Contribute to the wider life of the school * Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures What We're Looking For The school is looking for a teacher with: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised teaching qualification * Experience teaching within KS2, ideally Year 4 * Strong classroom and behaviour management skills * Excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum * The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons * A nurturing and supportive approach * Strong communication and teamwork skills * A commitment to safeguarding and pupil welfare Experience within an independent school would be advantageous, although teachers from strong mainstream primary backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
