Behaviour Mentor required for PRU in Hackney with an immediate start.

The role involves supporting students on a 1:1 basis inside and outside the classroom setting, particularly those with SEMH, ASD, and challenging behaviour. The Behaviour Mentor must also support students academically.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience working within a school setting.
  • Team Teach training is ideal but not essential.

The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, a flexible work ethic, and a commitment to helping students achieve their highest potential.

The school is a specialist vocational college and Pupil Referral Unit in Hackney, supporting learners from primary age to Year 11, many of whom are at risk of underachievement. The college focuses on removing barriers to learning and equipping students with the skills and confidence to progress back into mainstream education or move on to new settings.
