We are currently seeking to represent an experienced SEND specialist for a teaching job based in a growing alternative provision (CV11 4AD, Nuneaton, West Midlands). If you are a SEND specialist who is available immediately or from Easter or September 2025, we would be keen to speak with you.
If you are an experienced Tutor for pupils with SEND (SEMH), who has worked with either primary (KS2) or secondary aged pupils this Tutor job may be for you. We are currently supporting a newly established alternative provision site based in Nuneaton, West Midlands with their rapid journey of growth. Now having a substantial cohort of pupils, they are growing their team further. They are currently seeking a permanent Tutor on a full-time basis. This site has around 15 pupils in attendance and offers SEMH provision to children aged 11-19. All pupils hold an EHCP, and many have a diagnosis of SEMH, alongside other needs.
A tour of the site and an informal meeting with the Headteacher can be arranged as a first step.
In order to be successfully shortlisted in any of your applications with us we will require the following:
- A relevant UK based qualification.
- Substantial experience working within an education setting.
- All required documents for safer recruitment processing including, but not limited to a valid right to work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS.
- Exceptional references.
Once shortlisted, a one-to-one interview will be scheduled with your dedicated consultant to discuss your experience and personal requirements. You will be provided with advice and guidance in relation to your requirements that respect your home and work life balance.
Proposed start date: Easter 2025 (or sooner)
Salary: £20,000 to £22,000
