We are currently seeking an experienced English teacher for a secondary school-based job to start immediately after May half term 2026. We are supporting a secondary school based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northeast (NE3 5HP) with a full-time, interim job vacancy for an English teacher.

If you are an experienced secondary school teacher who has worked with pupils with SEMH and is available either immediately or from June 2026, we would be keen to speak with you about this new secondary teaching job opportunity in the Northeast.

This secondary school-based teaching job is offered on a full-time basis; however, a more flexible working pattern can be discussed depending on your personal working requirements. Ideally, you will be an experienced secondary English specialist who has planned and delivered the curriculum across KS3/KS4 or at GCSE level. You will be responsible for teaching a group of up to 8 students.

  • Substantial experience working within an education setting.
