Are you an education expert? We are currently seeking to represent an experienced Headteacher for the remainder of the academic year. We are supporting a North Birmingham, West Midlands based primary school (B23 6UB) with their need for an interim Headteacher to begin either immediately or from Easter 2026. If you are an experienced, primary Headteacher who is available to work in the North Birmingham area we would like to hear from you.
We are a locally based, family run recruitment business specialising in Education. With over 15 years’ worth of experience supporting education settings and candidates across primary, secondary and SEND divisions. Ideally, we are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who is available full time and demonstrates a keen desire to be at the helm of a school. You may have the potential to apply permanently later into the year.
We gain official salary information from each setting to ensure you are paid to scale from day one and in line with your responsibilities. We are fully committed to safeguarding all children within our schools and all candidates are subject to online checks as part of our safer recruitment process.
In order to be successfully shortlisted in any of your applications with us we will require the following:
- NPQH qualification or working towards.
- Substantial experience working within a UK primary school education setting.
- All required documents for safer recruitment processing including, but not limited to a valid right to work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS.
- Exceptional references.
Once shortlisted, a one-to-one interview will be scheduled with your dedicated consultant to discuss your experience and personal requirements.
Proposed start date: Immediate or Easter 2026
Salary: L20 to L24 (Up to £467.47 per day)
