How to prepare for a job interview at Education Experts
✨Know Your First Aid Basics
Make sure you brush up on your first aid knowledge before the interview. Be ready to discuss specific scenarios where you've applied your skills, especially in a school setting. This will show that you're not just certified but also experienced and confident in your abilities.
✨Familiarise Yourself with the School Environment
Research the school and its ethos. Understanding their values and how they operate can help you tailor your responses during the interview. Mentioning how you can contribute to their specific environment will make you stand out as a candidate.
✨Prepare for Behavioural Questions
Expect questions about how you've handled emergencies or conflicts in the past. Use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to structure your answers. This approach will help you convey your experiences clearly and effectively.
✨Showcase Your Tech Skills
Since excellent computer skills are a requirement, be prepared to discuss your experience with different software packages. If possible, bring examples of how you've used technology in your previous roles to enhance your first aid training or record-keeping.
