We are currently seeking to represent an experienced secondary Design and Technology (D&T) teacher for a Burton Upon Trent (DE13 8AZ), West Midlands based school. We are looking for a Design and Technology (D&T) teacher who would be available for a new long term, interim post from January 2026.

If you are an experienced secondary Design and Technology (D&T) teacher, who has taught within a secondary school either available immediately or thinking of reaching out to discuss new, secondary teaching job opportunities in the West Midlands we would be keen to speak with you.

This secondary school-based Design and Technology (D&T) teaching job is available on a full-time basis as an interim job from January 2026, you may have the opportunity to apply on a more permanent basis later in the academic year. This school has a fantastic Headteacher at the helm who truly puts the needs of their pupils first. We are seeking a likeminded team member to join them in their journey.

Requirements:
  • A relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Design and Technology (D&T) from KS3 up to A Level.
  • All required documents for safer recruitment processing including, but not limited to a valid right to work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS.
  • Exceptional references.
