We are seeking an experienced Deputy Headteacher for the upcoming academic year to support a primary school, including nursery, in the North Birmingham area (B23). The role offers temporary and long‑term cover starting in September 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • This leadership role can be part‑time or full‑time, with a minimum commitment of two days per week, ideally Monday and Wednesday.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with the senior leadership team to support school operations, curriculum delivery and pupil progress.

Qualifications

  • UK based teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
  • Substantial experience working within a primary education setting
  • Valid right to work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS
  • Exceptional references
