We are seeking an experienced Primary Specialist Assistant Headteacher for a full‑time interim leadership role at a Birmingham, West Midlands (B20) primary school, starting immediately.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership across Reception and KS1
  • ECT mentoring
  • Teaching and learning Lead for English or Maths (depending on strengths)
  • Assessment
  • Additional year‑6 support in May, if required

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Relevant UK‑based teaching and/or leadership qualification
  • Substantial experience working with EYFS pupils within a UK education setting
  • Valid right to work and Enhanced DBS (SAFER recruitment)
  • Exceptional references
