We are currently seeking to represent an experienced primary specialist Assistant Headteacher for a leadership job to start immediately. We are supporting a Wolverhampton, Staffordshire (WV10) based primary school with their need for an Early Years specialist (EYFS) senior leader on an interim basis.

If you are an experienced primary school Assistant Headteacher, who has held teaching responsibilities within the EYFS and are available immediately in the West Midlands we would be keen to speak with you. This primary school-based leadership job will be offered on a full-time, interim basis for at least the first half term. The role has the potential to extend.

The role includes the teaching responsibilities for the Reception class as 0.8 across the week and additional responsibilities as a senior leader will be discussed at interview and based on your strengths. This role would also suit an experienced teacher who is keen to step up into their first leadership role.

In order to be successfully shortlisted in your applications with us we will require the following:

  • A relevant UK based teaching and/or leadership qualification.
  • Substantial experience working with EYFS pupils within a UK education setting.
  • All required documents for safer recruitment processing including, but not limited to a valid right to work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS.
  • Exceptional references.

Once shortlisted, a one-to-one interview will be scheduled with your dedicated consultant to discuss your experience and personal requirements.

Proposed start date: Immediate

Salary: £250 to £300 per day
