About the role

Education Development Trust is seeking to expand its network of education professionals in Chad to support potential future technical assistance and research programmes focused on strengthening national education systems and improving learning outcomes. We are particularly interested in connecting with both Chadian nationals and international experts based in Chad, or with strong experience in country, alongside experience working in low-resource and fragile contexts, and with a track record of engaging with government, donors and multilateral partners.

We are especially keen to hear from individuals with experience in:

  • Education system strengthening and reform, particularly improving foundational learning outcomes at scale
  • Engagement with multilateral organisations and donors, including navigating education financing and coordination mechanisms
  • Country-level stakeholder engagement, including Ministries of Education and Finance, Local Education Groups, and development partners
  • Political economy analysis and education sector analysis, particularly in fragile and crisis-affected contexts
  • Research, synthesis and report writing, including production of high-quality analytical outputs under tight timelines
  • Facilitation of senior-level dialogue and workshops, including building consensus across government and partners
  • Monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), including evidence generation and use of data to inform decision-making
  • Education in emergencies (EiE) and delivery in complex operating environments
