About the Role
St. Andrew’s School has the following vacancy to start in September 2026: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (35 hours per week – term time only). Salary: £22,984.54. Closing Date: midnight Sunday 31st May 2026. Interviews: Thursday 4th June 2026.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and inspirational Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our existing team of four Higher Level Teaching Assistants at St. Andrew’s School from September 2026. This is a permanent, term time only position, working 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning in a KS1/KS2 classroom.
- Deliver weekly small group English and Maths intervention sessions.
- Deliver some whole class teaching in a non-core subject.
- Provide cover for any teacher absence.
