An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our growing team as a Client Partner at a pivotal time for Education Cubed. Working across a diverse client portfolio, you will take full ownership of client relationships from onboarding through to long-term growth, acting as a strategic advisor and trusted partner. This is a senior, client-facing role that blends strategic thinking, campaign leadership, and commercial accountability. You will lead multi-market activity, shape client strategy, and ensure consistently high standards of delivery across all clients. You will also play a key role in developing junior talent within the Account Management team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and lead client relationships end-to-end, from onboarding new clients through to long-term partnership development and growth.
  • Take commercial ownership of your client portfolio, with responsibility for revenue growth, retention, and overall account performance.
  • Act as a strategic advisor, understanding client objectives and translating them into effective, insight-led marketing strategies.
  • Lead onboarding processes for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition, clear planning, and strong foundations for success.
  • Drive multi-market campaign delivery, overseeing execution across platforms, and internal teams.
  • Build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships, confidently leading meetings, presentations, and strategic discussions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Media, Creative, Data & Tech to deliver integrated, high-performing campaigns.
  • Work closely with the in-house research team to ensure insights are translated into campaign strategy, messaging, and creative direction.
  • Develop campaign specific strategies, adapting to audience nuances, behaviours, and study level requirements.
  • Lead performance analysis and reporting, translating data into clear, actionable insights and forward-looking recommendations.
  • Manage budgets across campaigns, ensuring accurate forecasting, pacing, and strong return on investment.
  • Identify and drive growth opportunities within accounts, including upselling and cross-selling services.
  • Support new business activity, including pitches, proposals, and market research.
  • Negotiate effectively with clients, media owners, and partners to deliver optimal outcomes.
  • Mentor and support junior members of the Account Management team, helping to develop their skills, confidence, and client management capabilities.
  • Represent Education Cubed, attending conferences, client meetings and travelling where required.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a client-facing agency role, managing and growing accounts.
  • A strong understanding of the UK and International Higher Education market.
  • A strong sense of ownership and commercial accountability, with experience managing revenue or contributing to account growth.
  • A strategic mindset, able to move beyond delivery and add value through insight and forward-thinking recommendations.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing channels including paid social, PPC, and programmatic or display, with awareness of platform differences.
  • Experience working with research and insight, with the ability to interpret findings and apply them to marketing strategy.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior clients and internal teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, comfortable turning data into clear, actionable insight.
  • High level of commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets and delivering ROI.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
  • A proactive, adaptable approach in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the Youth sector is advantageous, but not essential.

Qualifications

  • A degree or HND in Advertising, Business or Management, Communications, English, or Marketing would be advantageous.
