This role involves inspiring young people by sharing your experience and knowledge about the world of work. Our ambassadors help enhance in-school events like CV writing, interview prep, financial awareness, and careers guidance. Events range from workshops to full-day sessions, some virtually via Microsoft Teams, in schools and colleges across Berkshire, Swindon, Wiltshire, North Hampshire, and Oxfordshire.

We seek enthusiastic, positive volunteers from diverse backgrounds, including retirees, professionals, and those from varied cultural and community backgrounds. No specific work experience is required, just a willingness to inspire and support young people. There is no minimum commitment, and support is provided for each event.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting career-related events and workshops
  • Mentoring students and judging enterprise competitions
  • Sharing your expertise to motivate and inspire youth

Qualifications:

Additional Information:

Our volunteers are vital to our mission, and last year, 100% of our ambassadors wanted to attend more events. Support is always provided by our Project Officers, who will brief you beforehand. Events vary in length and format, with flexible commitments.

This role is not applicable to a specific seniority level and falls under sectors like Human Resources, Strategy/Planning, and Training within Education Administration Programs.
