Education Boutique is a leading provider of bespoke educational solutions, specialising in personalised tuition for learners outside of traditional school environments. We partner with schools, local authorities, and families to deliver high-impact support for pupils accessing EOTAS (Education Other Than At School) provision, Section 10 funded programmes, and reintegration pathways.

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced KS3 Maths Tutor to work with learners in the High Wycombearea. This role involves supporting students who may be:

  • Preparing to reintegrate into a mainstream or specialist school
  • Accessing education via EOTAS packages or Section 19 funded provision
  • Facing barriers to education due to SEMH, SEN, or other individual needs

You will be responsible for delivering 1:1 tuition sessions, tailored to each learner’s academic level and personal circumstances. Sessions may be held in the learner’s home, an agreed public location, or school setting depending on what best supports the child’s needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, personalised Maths tuition aligned with the KS3 curriculum
  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit individuals based on reintegration goals and EHCP targets
  • Build trusting relationships with learners to support confidence and progress
  • Maintain clear communication with Education Boutique
  • Keep accurate records and uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or demonstrable tutoring/TA experience in SEN and KS3 Maths
  • Experience working with vulnerable or disengaged learners, including those with SEN/SEMH (PDA highly desirable)
  • Ability to plan and deliver creative, targeted lessons to EHCP targets
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through our vetting process)
  • Access to reliable transport and willingness to travel within High Wycombe and nearby areas
  • Registered as self-employed (or willingness to work in this capacity)
  • Hold Level 2 safeguarding (or willingness to obtain through our vetting process)
  • Hold adequate Public Libaility and Professional Indemnity insurance (or willingness to obtain during our vetting process)
