The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic RE/PSHE Teacher to join a highly regarded secondary school in Wotton-under-Edge from January 2026. This is a maternity cover position with a teaching commitment of 0.76 FTE, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' personal development and academic progress.
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in Religious Education and PSHE across KS3 and KS4.
- Assessing, recording, and reporting on student progress in line with school policies.
- Contributing to the wider curriculum, supporting whole-school initiatives around wellbeing, safeguarding, and personal development.
- Maintaining high standards of classroom management and fostering a positive learning environment.
- Participating in departmental meetings and collaborating with colleagues to ensure consistency and excellence in teaching.
