We are supporting a well established Alternative Provision in the Worcester area who are seeking a committed Teacher for a maternity cover starting September 2027. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who thrives in a small, relationship focused environment and is confident supporting pupils with additional needs.
About the Role:
- Lead a small cohort of 6 students, delivering a mix of in person and online teaching
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs
- Build strong, consistent relationships to support behaviour, engagement and progress
- Work collaboratively with a supportive team including pastoral and SEN staff
- Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and contribute to the wider school community
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with pupils who may present SEMH or behavioural needs
- A resilient, adaptable and compassionate teaching style
- Confidence delivering both classroom based and online learning
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
