Overview
We are currently looking for a teacher to cover a long term post in a mixed EYFS / KS1 class starting in mid-February 2026. This role is working at a local village primary school. Within the class you will have a Teaching Assistant part time. This role comes with full classroom responsibility; all planning will be required. You will also be required to support with parents' evenings, reports and any school trips. The class has a mix of EYFS and KS1 pupils, totaling just over 10 students so you will be working with a small class team.
Responsibilities
- Work full time - 5 days per week and take on full classroom responsibility
- Deliver the national curriculum to the EYFS and KS1 class
- Complete all planning for the class
Requirements
- You must have a relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS etc)
- Creative and passionate class teacher who has a great understanding of the EYFS curriculum
- Teachers who are happy to work with the school and leadership team to deliver the school values
- Someone who has high expectations of their pupils and supports them with their development across the EYFS and KS1 year.
