You will play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment while supporting both children and staff within your room.

Your Role

  • Lead the day-to-day running of your nursery room
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Support and mentor practitioners within the room
  • Complete observations, assessments, and planning
  • Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards are maintained
  • Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children

Requirements

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Leadership and team support experience
  • Positive, organised, and professional approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
