Education Assets is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-established nursery in Mapplewell for an experienced and motivated Room Leader. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate early years professional ready to take the next step in their career and lead a room within a supportive and nurturing nursery environment. You will play a key role in creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment while supporting both children and staff within your room.
Your Role
- Lead the day-to-day running of your nursery room
- Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Support and mentor practitioners within the room
- Complete observations, assessments, and planning
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery standards are maintained
- Create a positive, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children
Requirements
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Leadership and team support experience
- Positive, organised, and professional approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
