An opportunity for a SENDCo at a special educational needs school in Croydon has arisen. The vacancy is for a full time and permanent SENDCo starting in September. The school requires a qualified and experienced SENDCo to join the team to ensure the smooth running of the school.
You will be required to provide training and identify training needs for staff in order to allow them to best support students, as well as creating EHCP plans for the SEN students and staying on track with school policies and values.
The successful candidate for the SENDCo role will be required to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and follow school policies and the code of conduct.
The main responsibilities will include the development and operation of the SEN policy, the coordination of the provision, maintenance of the SEND register and analysis of pupil data.
