We are looking for a dedicated science teacher to work within a school for children between the ages of 11-19 years old. The school is based in Merton with good transport links via buses and trains.
As a science teacher, you will be required to motivate, inspire and teach students from KS3 to KS5. You will plan, implement and deliver lessons that support the school’s curriculum and encourage a positive experience for the students. You will also be responsible for monitoring and promoting your students' progress. Additionally, you will be required to take part in open evenings, parents’ evenings and attend any meetings that may need your input.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the science curriculum and the ability to motivate and inspire students to be the best they can be. A friendly and positive attitude is essential, along with the ability to uphold the high standards and values of the school. Previous experience teaching KS5 students is preferred but not essential.
