We are looking for a Safeguarding/Education Welfare Officer to work alongside the headteacher and key school staff to update and maintain relevant policies, procedures and guidance. You will be the first point of contact for any safeguarding inquiries and be responsible for updating and maintaining records.
The school welcomes students with varying special educational needs and has a strong belief that every student should be supported and feel confident within themselves and their abilities. It is important to them that every student feels safe and supported.
The ideal Safeguarding Officer will have experience of working in the field of child protection and have the ability to use Microsoft Office to produce professional documents. They will also have effective communication skills and the ability to maintain relationships within the school community.
