We are currently working with a specialist SEN school in Croydon, who are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to take on a permanent position within the school. The school is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant who can remain professional and calm in challenging situations. You would need to be enthusiastic, resilient, empathetic and patient.
A successful SEN Teaching Assistant would be able to help with tasks such as behaviour management, which includes helping to follow and implement behaviour plans. Other duties include assisting with personal and physical welfare needs, helping to create a safe and inclusive environment. You will help the students build confidence and encourage social interaction to aid their personal development.
