Supply Education Alliance are an award-winning supply teaching employment business looking for Teaching Assistants to join our supply agency for exciting ad hoc supply teaching assistant opportunities in the Trowbridge area and the surrounding areas.

The Job Role: Supply Education Alliance are looking for a Trowbridge based teaching assistant with compassion and desire to guide the young minds of our future. You will be able to adapt to different environments, engage students with invigorating ideas and radiate positivity throughout school placements. We cover day to day, short term and long-term supply, and are always on the lookout for Primary teachers, secondary teachers, cover supervisors, HLTAs and Teaching assistants to join our team. Part-time and full-time applicants are encouraged to join!

Please note: Our standard daily pay rate as a supply teacher recruitment business is £90 for teaching assistants and £95 for SEN teaching assistants. For longer-term placements with additional responsibilities, daily pay rate for a teaching assistant could be negotiated up to £100, at the discretion of school budgets.

Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the class teacher
  • Following safeguarding and school policies
  • Working 1:1 or with whole classes
  • Liaising with school staff

Teaching Assistant Essentials:

  • Previous experience working alongside children
  • Knowledge of the curriculum
  • A current DBS, or Update Service subscription (the agency can apply for this)
  • A 3 year minimum reference history
  • Reliability
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Located close to Trowbridge or within commuting distance
