Educated Households is a higher-tier household staff agency, based in London, placing elite educated private staff with VIP & UHNW families in London, the Middle East and worldwide. On behalf of our prominent Clients based out in Qatar, we are seeking an exceptionally-experienced Housekeeping Manager / Housekeeping Director, with notable experience in managing housekeeping departments in 5-star or 7-star hotels in Europe, the U.K., the US or the rest of the world, that is highly capable of managing the substantial housekeeping teams of a VVIP Principal that travels extensively.

The selected Housekeeping Manager will evidently have the potential of handling all the Qatar-based housekeeping teams spread over several properties, will tactfully deal with female quarters, liaising with any of the stakeholders' personnel of this ultra prestigious household. This expertise-driven Housekeeping Manager will report to the Principal and to any representatives handpicked by the Principal and must be able to work both independently and collaboratively, wholeheartedly taking the lead and being instrumental in the smooth running of all the housekeeping teams (200+).

The ultimate Housekeeping Manager will exude natural-born authority, whilst not being domineering, in order to instill confidence in their teams, prompting each and everyone of them to deliver their absolute best. With this in mind, the Housekeeping Manager will resort to their soft skills, diplomacy and flair, to meticulously organize, anticipate and strategize the implementation of all the Principal's lifestyle-related requests, together with the laundry department, by smartly getting all the teams into motion to best cater to the Principal's needs, and this, across multiple homes.

In this multi-faceted pivotal role, the Housekeeping Manager will deliver exceptional service, routinely inspect each unit to ensure that all properties remain in pristine condition, put new systems in place, test-drive them and oversee challenging projects with the utmost professionalism and depth, and will be able to train and mentor their teams. Equally importantly, it will be highly appreciated for the Housekeeping Manager to display utter efficiency to keep the standards exceptionally high whilst conducting their role in the most discreet demeanour.

It shall be expected that your thorough second-to-none expertise in all things crystallized around supreme housekeeping management, leveraged by your high-end hospitality background, will clearly set you apart from your peers in the profession, notably when it comes to attending to the family's needs and of any affiliated prestigious guests. Adhering to confidentiality is non-negotiable in this role as the Principals do value their privacy. This Doha-based role is to start ASAP.

Requirements

  • Experience with UHNW and VVIP Principals.
  • Prior housekeeping leadership roles in a luxurious environment.
  • Used to managing large teams: organising shifts and rotas.
  • Writing & implementing SOP Manuals (Standard Operational Procedures).
  • Catering to all the Principal's needs, the family's, the children's & any guests'.
  • Maximising guest experience.
  • Strategic planning.
  • Being used to working in fast-paced environments.
  • Conducting tasks in the most-timely manner.
  • Outstanding greeting skills.
  • Strictly adhering to etiquette and security protocols.
  • Etiquette expertise and flair.
  • Holding open lines of communication with colleagues and other household staff.

Skills Required

  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Coming from a top-notch 5-star or 7-star hospitality background.
  • Bachelor's Degree in high-end hospitality.
