Educated Households is a higher-tier nanny agency & private household staff agency, based in London, placing full-time elite educated nannies, governesses, tutors, estate managers, palace managers and educated private staff with VIP, UHNW families and Royal Palaces in the Middle East and worldwide.

Two temporary opportunities have just come in. A visiting VIP family from Qatar are seeking two experienced holiday governesses / holiday nannies, already based in the U.K., to maximise their stay whilst holidaying to look after their children aged 8 and 5 years old.

The UK-based governesses / nannies must speak impeccable English to a native level, be resourceful to address the needs of children this age, and ensure that the children keep engaged & entertained throughout their time vacationing. The family will only consider experienced candidates having graduated from prestigious universities, with a Bachelor’s Degree at the very least. These are non-negotiable requirements. Ideal candidates might be teachers, holding a PGCE, experienced with this age group. Having previously worked as a governess for VIP or VVIP families in the U.K. or overseas will be highly beneficial to handle these positions.

These 2 live-in positions are to start in August 2023, for a period of two weeks, whose exact dates are yet to be confirmed. The governesses / nannies are expected to work on 12-hour shifts. Further details will be disclosed as the family’s plans get finalised.

Requirements:
  • Must already be based in London or in the rest of the U.K.
  • Must have experience working as a governess or as a nanny with VIP or VVIP families either in London or overseas.
  • Temporary live-in positions.
  • 2-week bookings.
  • 12-hour shifts.
  • Must be available for the whole month of August 2023, should the bookings last over these 2 weeks in August.
  • Be familiar with London to organise exciting activities for 5 & 8-year-old children.
  • Degree from a reputable University establishment recognised worldwide.
  • Ideally a PGCE or equivalent.
  • DBS / Police check.
  • Paediatric first-aid certificate.
  • Endowed with creative skills.
  • An interest in sports might be useful.
  • Not being fazed with last-minute schedules and assignments.
  • Culturally-aware and thoughtful candidates.
  • Reporting progress to the Principals or to their representatives.
