A lovely visiting family from the Gulf countries based in Chelsea, London (U.K.), that comes highly recommended to us, is seeking an inspiring Part-Time/Short-Term French Tutor for twin girls who will turn 7 years old in August.
The Clients are supremely respectful, punctual and do value education. The little girls are into jiu jitsu, practice the piano and love arts & crafts. The children are very inquisitive, gregarious and extremely polite.
An engaging & experienced French Tutor with little ones, endowed with creativity and a good sense of humour, would be a great fit. The French Tutor should be able to make the childrenâ s stay in London fun and enjoyable. Concurrently, the French Tutor should speak superb and spotless French.
This is an informal fully-staffed household with staff in residence who have demonstrated longevity and loyalty to the family.
Work Schedule:
- School holidays: from 25th June to 2nd July 2026 (with a possibility to provide an extra 2-week tuition in August as well).
- Weekdays: preferably from 9:00 am â 11:00 am (or any consecutive blocks of 2 hours between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm).
Adhering to confidentiality is non-negotiable in this role as the Principals do value their privacy.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Core duties shall include, but not limited to:
- Experience with VIP families.
- Culturally aware and internationally minded.
- Produce fun and age-appropriate French lessons that would be entertaining to the girls.
- Able to speak perfect French with the fluency of a native speaker.
- Being creative, supremely resourceful and forward-thinking.
- A Bachelorâ s Degree or a Masterâ s Degree ideally from a French University.
- Mastering the French language.
- Checkable references.
- Paediatric first-aid certificate.
- A minimum of 5 yearsâ experience teaching primary-school children.
- An eye for detail, being meticulous and highly organised.
- Fun to be around.
- A positive & helpful outlook.
- Diplomatic skills.
- Excellent communicator.
- Approachable & supportive.
Benefits
- £30.00 per hour, gross (tutoring the children).
- Higher hourly rate: possibility to teach the Principal as well, should the French Tutor have experience in this field.
