Role Overview: The Duty Manager supports the Club Manager in delivering a 5* experience for residents, guests and external contractors. The role blends operational, fitness and customer‑service duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational: Open/close the facility, conduct health and safety checks, pool testing and ensure brand standards are met.
- Fitness: Perform fitness assessments, prescribe exercise programmes, instruct group classes and promote personal training during off‑shift hours.
- Customer Service: Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, deliver exemplary service, answer phone calls and emails, maintain relationships with high‑net‑worth residents and team members.

Qualifications and Experience
- A fitness qualification (minimum Level 2)
- At least two years of fitness industry experience, ideally in a 5‑star or luxury environment
- Experience in swimming pool or pool plant operations
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- RLSS Emergency Responder qualification or willingness to obtain one
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to work an 18‑hour contract across 3 × 6‑hour shifts in Westminster, covering weekdays and weekends, with early starts and late finishes.
- Strong communication, organisation, resilience, and a willingness to learn are essential for future managerial responsibilities.
