The role is home based with online delivery of both Management and Project Management Apprenticeships. Overall Job Purpose To manage, train and assess a caseload of apprenticeship learners within their workplace, including regular reviews on their progress against their individual learning plan and assessment of their learning to ensure they successfully complete their apprenticeship programme in a timely manner and inline with or above the success rates set by the client. Key Responsibilities: – Plan and deliver inspirational teaching and learning that engages and excites all learners on apprenticeship programmes, in line with best practice and employer expectations. – To work remotely as part of the delivery team and manage a caseload of apprenticeship learners ensuring each learner has training delivered according to the relevant delivery plan and have bi-monthly review and bi-monthly progress reviews. – Training will be delivered remotely using Microsoft Teams and may include regular travel for training to be delivered face to face to learners. On occasions you may be required to travel to Head Office for your induction/ standardisation and annual Strategy Days (overnight stays may be required). – To be involved in the recruitment of new learners, ensuring they have a thorough induction to Apprenticeships and review initial assessments to ensure they are on the right programme identifying correct starting points. – You will be required to coach, train and assess learners ensuring they are ready for their End Point Assessment. – Embed robust and engaging delivery for Math and English skills within all apprenticeships, particularly for those learners who are required to complete Functional Skills qualifications. – Maintain learner records, data and learning plans through consistent use of the e-portfolio system Maytas and in line with GDPR regulations. – Undertake Health & Safety checks of the workplace/learning environment for all the learners on caseload – To work as part of the delivery team, sharing best practice and expertise to develop training resources/materials that reflect current industry standards and delivery models that are engaging and enthuse the learners. – Attend regular team meetings and 1-1s to ensure close coaching is given and performance is monitored. – Raise learner awareness and promote key Government Strategies for Safeguarding and the Prevent Duty. Raising concerns with the Designated Safeguarding Officer and in accordance with Safeguarding and Prevent Policy. – Promote inclusive learning opportunities and celebrate diversity so that all learners have the opportunity to undertake an apprenticeship and are provided with sufficient information, advice and guidance to ensure that they receive the right level of support. Person Speciification Applicants must have: – Award in Education & Training – Assessors Award or Equivalent – Current knowledge of occupational competence areas and recent CPD activity. – Experience of working within relevant occupational area. – Experience of working in the training/ education sector. – Proven experience of delivering apprenticeships within a training envrionment and managing own caseload of learners. It would be desirable if candidates: – Had an Internal Verification Award or equivalent. – Functional Skills English, Maths and ICT. – Relevant Industry Qualification Level 3 and above. – Solid understand of apprenticeship standards. – Experience of using e-portfolio systems and virtual learning envrionments
