Educated Appointments are proud to be working with an Ofsted-rated Outstanding independent training provider to recruit a Management Apprenticeship Tutor. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a skilled tutor or coach to support apprentices across Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor and Level 5 Operations/Departmental Manager standards.
The role is primarily home-based, offering a great deal of flexibility, but applicants must be based within the South West of England, as travel will be required from time to time to meet with learners and employers face to face. A full UK driving licence and access to a car is essential, with mileage paid at 45p per mile.
The provider is a well-established and respected name in the sector, known for its high achievement rates, supportive team environment and innovative approach to apprenticeship delivery. With a caseload of around 40 learners, you’ll be delivering high-quality, tailored coaching and assessment that equips apprentices with the skills, knowledge and confidence to thrive in management roles. Most delivery is conducted via Zoom, allowing tutors to plan their schedules flexibly and work efficiently from home, while still maintaining valuable face-to-face connections where needed.
You’ll play a key role in each learner’s journey — not just teaching content but mentoring, guiding, and preparing them for success at their End Point Assessment. You’ll also liaise regularly with employers to ensure that training is aligned with real workplace challenges and that apprentices are receiving well-rounded support.
- Delivering engaging and structured training and coaching to apprentices on Level 3 and Level 5 management standards
- Managing a caseload of approximately 40 apprentices, maintaining regular contact and providing tailored support
- Conducting remote one-to-one sessions, webinars, and occasional face-to-face visits where required
- Preparing learners for End Point Assessment through structured planning, feedback and mock assessments
- Working closely with employers to ensure effective alignment between off-the-job training and workplace experience
- Maintaining accurate learner records in line with Ofsted and ESFA compliance requirements
- Using online platforms and e-portfolio systems to plan, deliver and track learning
- Participating in team meetings, CPD and quality assurance processes to continuously improve delivery
To be considered for the role, you will need to have prior experience delivering management or leadership training within an apprenticeship or work-based learning setting. A recognised teaching or assessing qualification (such as AET, TAQA, CAVA, or equivalent) is expected, along with a solid understanding of apprenticeship standards. You’ll be confident delivering both Level 3 and Level 5 qualifications, comfortable with remote delivery, and highly organised in managing your caseload.
You’ll also benefit from a collaborative team environment, ongoing CPD opportunities, and the chance to be part of a provider that genuinely cares about learner success and quality outcomes.
If you’re a management tutor who’s passionate about developing others and looking for a role where you can make a real difference — while enjoying the flexibility of home-based working — then we’d love to hear from you.
