We’re seeking an experienced Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) to play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of apprenticeship delivery. Working closely with the Quality Manager, you’ll support a culture of continuous improvement—ensuring every learner experience meets exceptional standards and contributes to the organisation’s goal of outstanding quality and performance.

As an Internal Quality Assurer, you’ll coordinate and carry out purposeful quality assurance activities that inform, guide, and strengthen apprenticeship delivery. You’ll help shape best practice, support teams through constructive feedback, and provide insight that drives measurable quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and conduct a range of quality assurance activities aligned to internal frameworks
- Carry out observations, sampling, and colleague shadowing to assess delivery quality
- Collect and analyse feedback from learners, employers, and key stakeholders
- Maintain accurate QA records, action plans, and impact evidence
- Identify trends and insights to inform continuous improvement
- Produce timely, high-quality reports to support management decisions
- Support preparations for external quality assurance visits and Ofsted inspection

About You
You’ll bring proven experience in apprenticeship quality assurance, underpinned by an IQA qualification and a proactive, collaborative approach. You’ll be confident in providing constructive feedback, adept at analysing data, and skilled at balancing multiple priorities.
Essential skills and attributes:
- IQA qualification
- Recent experience of quality assurance in an apprenticeship setting
- Strong understanding of Ofsted, EPAO and apprenticeship funding regulations
- Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills
- A solution-focused, adaptable approach with strong teamwork and accountability
