We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist apprenticeship provider delivering Level 3 Early Years Educator and Support Teaching and Learning programmes across the Midlands, North West, and London. They operate a blended delivery model and have a clear focus on doing things properly not just ticking boxes. This is a full-time, permanent IQA role based in Birmingham with hybrid working. You will be the person keeping assessment practice consistent, compliant, and continuously improving.

What you will be doing:

  • Planning and carrying out internal quality assurance activities across childcare apprenticeship programmes
  • Sampling learner work and reviewing assessment decisions against awarding body requirements
  • Monitoring assessor performance and providing clear, constructive feedback
  • Leading and supporting standardisation meetings to maintain consistent practice
  • Analysing quality data, identifying trends, and preparing reports
  • Collaborating with trainers and assessors to drive meaningful improvements
  • Communicating with internal teams and external partners to uphold best practice
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of apprenticeship delivery
