Engineering Tutors – Mechanical & Machining

Full-time, Permanent – Monday to Friday

Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire

Are you an experienced Engineer with a passion for developing the next generation of talent? We\’re looking for two dedicated Engineering Tutors – one specialising in Mechanical Engineering and the other in Machining (Milling/Turning/CNC) – to join a well-established training provider.

You\’ll deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment to apprentices and adult learners, ensuring they gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to excel in their careers. With a strong commitment to quality and learner success, you\’ll play a key role in shaping the workforce of tomorrow.

What you\’ll be doing:

  • Delivering engaging, industry-relevant lessons that inspire and challenge learners.
  • Designing and delivering differentiated schemes of work and lesson plans.
  • Supporting learners throughout their programme, ensuring timely completion of qualifications and standards.
  • Maintaining accurate records of learner progress and achievement.
  • Working closely with employers to ensure training meets industry needs.
  • Contributing to internal quality assurance processes and continuous improvement.

What we\’re looking for:

  • Proven industry experience in either Mechanical Engineering or Machining (Milling/Turning/CNC).
  • Recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
  • Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards and vocational training.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusivity.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
