Main Purpose

Our client are looking for an Employability Tutor who will develop, promote, deliver, and assess training to maximise learning outcomes for learners.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver classroom based / accredited qualification entry 3 and level 1 to unemployed adults (learners) of up to 12-15 people
  • Carry out initial and on-going assessment to ensure students are on the right programme and receiving the right level of support
  • Where appropriate, prepare learners to successfully undertake assignments or sit tests/exams to maintain high success rates
  • Mark/assess students work, provide structured feedback and set development objectives for learners
  • Plan & design appropriate training programmes (including development of schemes of work, lesson plans, Apprenticeship Learning Plans etc), taking account of individual requirements to ensure differentiation of learning
  • Where appropriate, prepare students to successfully undertake assignments or sit tests/exams in order to maintain high success rates
  • Monitor and track students progress, including through reviews to ensure high achievement rates

Skills Required:

  • Must hold teaching qualification At least PTLLS Level 3 (Essential)
  • IAG Level / Qualification or willingness to undertake training (Preferable)
  • Full UK Drivers Licence or able to travel across Greater Manchester
  • Experience of working in employability is an advantage
