Responsibilities
- Engaging with new and existing employers to identify opportunities for apprenticeship recruitment, commercial training and staff upskilling.
- Engaging with new employers through outbound calls, direct communication, networking and relationship building.
- Developing employer partnerships across creative, media, audio-visual, business and professional sectors.
- Identifying opportunities for apprenticeships, commercial training, apprenticeship vacancies and staff upskilling.
- Arranging organisational and training needs analysis meetings with employers.
- Working towards monthly sales and enrolment targets.
- Supporting employers with apprenticeship vacancy promotion.
- Liaising with marketing colleagues to advertise opportunities across relevant channels.
- Working with administration colleagues to support timely learner enrolment.
- Collaborating with tutors to ensure employers and learners understand delivery expectations and commitments.
- Attending events to increase awareness and generate new employer relationships.
- Bringing ideas, market insight and a proactive approach to business development activity.
About You
- Confident communicator with experience in consultative sales, employer engagement, business development or training-related sales.
- Experience within apprenticeships, education, employability or funded training, or a wider B2B sales background with a genuine interest in the education and skills sector.
- Experience or contacts within the creative, media, music, audio-visual, production or recording studio sectors would be highly advantageous.
Ideal Qualifications
- Experience in business development, employer engagement, recruitment, training sales or consultative B2B sales.
- The ability to build strong relationships with employers and decision-makers.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach to generating new opportunities.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and online systems.
- Understanding of apprenticeships, levy funding or government-funded training would be beneficial.
- GCSE English and maths at grade C/4 or above, or equivalent.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
