Position: Phonics Lead & Year 2 Teacher Location: Thurrock, Essex Key Responsibilities: * Phonics Leadership: Oversee the delivery of phonics instruction, support colleagues in implementing effective phonics strategies, and ensure strong early reading outcomes for all students. * Classroom Teaching: Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum for Year 2 students, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. * Student Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development. * Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience and contribute to the school's continuous improvement.
