We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic STEM Specialist to work in Bangor. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in science and demonstrate excellent mentoring and teaching abilities.
Main Duties
- To plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and informative STEM workshops
- Facilitate workshops by helping with activities and explaining scientific concepts
- Ensure that all workshops are delivered to a high standard
- Work with local schools and colleges to determine their specific needs in respect of tailored activities
- Prepare the necessary materials for each workshop and ensure correct handling of specialist equipment
If successful in the role a permanent contract is available.
Person Specification
Essential
- Degree in a STEM related subject
- Fluent in Welsh
- Experience of developing and delivering presentations and workshops with demonstrable learning outcomes
- Excellent communication skills
- A positive and proactive attitude
- Full driving licence and access to own vehicle
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

- Previous experience working in education
