The Educate Group would love to hear from qualified Tutors interested in joining their existing and successful Alternative Provision team based in Rhyl. This particular position would suit a passionate and creative Tutor who thrives on working in a challenging yet rewarding environment, inspiring young people to learn on a 1-2-1 basis. It is important that you have the natural ability and flair to engage and motivate your learners, helping them achieve success through your industry experience and support. Your role will be to develop and deliver high quality learner focused education, meeting all requirements and standards.
Key Duties:
- Plan and deliver an engaging and motivating course to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with higher needs
- Design and develop resources to support the delivery of the course
- Responsible for the reporting of learner progress, attendance and attainment
- Accurate and timely reporting procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety
- Liaise with parents/carers on a regular basis
Skills and abilities:
- Qualified Teacher
- ALN experience
- Ability to build relationships with young people
- Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to develop lesson plans and resources to meet the needs of learners
- Awareness of National Curriculum and relevant key stages
- Driving licence and access to own vehicle
