Educate, a leading teaching supply company, is recruiting vibrant individuals to join our team as Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools in Mold.
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll hold a pivotal role in maintaining a positive and productive learning atmosphere within secondary schools.
Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing students in the absence of their regular teacher, ensuring the completion of pre-prepared work, and managing classroom behaviour.
This role is varied and rewarding, allowing you the opportunity to build confidence in the classroom, whilst covering a variation of different subjects, age groups and abilities.

Responsibilities of a Cover Supervisor
- Supervise classes and deliver pre-prepared lessons in the absence of a teacher
- Ensure that students are engaged, motivated and on task
- Manage any behaviour issues that may arise
- Follow school policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate records of student progress
Requirements of a Cover Supervisor
- A degree or Level 3 qualification with solid standards of literacy and numeracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to manage behaviour effectively
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Flexibility and adaptability
Registrations required to be a Cover Supervisor
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, but if you do not have one, you can apply for a new one through Educate.
- You must register with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) to work in Wales.
