Are you a talented and ambitious Maths teacher, committed to ensuring students make their very best progress? The Educate Group are looking to appoint motivated and creative teachers with a passion for their subject, to teach across our schools in a secondary school in the Sandbach area and across Cheshire. This role is equally suited to experienced teachers looking for a change of direction or looking for a role with more flexibility. Opportunities are available for day to day, short term and long-term placements, both on a full and part-time basis.

Responsibilities of a Secondary Teacher:

  • Deliver and provide opportunities for students to learn and express themselves.
  • Ensure that students are engaged, motivated and on task.
  • Manage any behaviour issues that may arise.
  • Follow school policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress.

Requirements of a Secondary Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to manage behaviour effectively.
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to collaborate.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.

Registrations required to be a Secondary Teacher:

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, but if you do not have one, you can apply for a new one through Educate.
  • You must register with the EWC (Education Workforce Council) to work in Wales.
