Educate-Group is proud to be working in partnership with a large secondary school in Shropshire. We are urgently seeking a qualified HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join this rapidly improving and vibrant school community.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a brand-new Alternative Provision site, supporting small groups of students with special educational needs. You will join a dedicated and highly supportive team where ongoing professional development and career progression are available for the right candidate.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Confident in managing behaviour and communicating effectively

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver tailored learning sessions to small groups
  • Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress and development
  • Take the lead in pupil supervision and attend to individual needs
  • Foster constructive relationships with parents/carers in collaboration with class teachers
  • Promote inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
  • Use your skills, training, and experience to assess individual pupil needs and support their learning journey
  • Coordinate and deliver 1:1 mentoring support where appropriate
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure student success

The role begins in September 2025, full-time during term time only. Applicants must hold a Level 4 qualification or equivalent. This role is ideal for a newly qualified teacher eager to begin their career in a supportive, pastoral setting.
