We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PA to support our Headteacher. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment, managing school operations, diary and meeting management, secretarial support, travel arrangements and general office excellence. Your role may also involve providing cover arrangements for absences. This requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a commitment to delivering a professional service.

Duties

  • Oversee the daily operations of the school, ensuring a safe and productive environment for students and staff.
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, and performance evaluations to build a high-performing team.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the community to promote student success and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records and manage administrative tasks including data entry and clerical duties.
  • Utilise computerised systems for scheduling, reporting, and communication within the school community.
  • Ensure compliance with educational regulations and standards while promoting best practices in teaching and learning.
  • Foster an inclusive school culture that values diversity and encourages student participation in extracurricular activities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an administrative role within a school setting is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
