Educate are working closely with a ‘Good’ high school in Ellesmere Port and schools in surrounding areas who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support the class teacher on a supply basis as and when needed by the school, covering sickness, maternity, training, appointments etc.
Duties:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
- Working with small groups or on a one-to-one basis
- Assisting pupils with additional learning needs (including SEN)
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Providing feedback on pupil progress where required
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children (school-based experience desirable)
- A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant) – desirable but not essential
- A proactive, adaptable, and professional attitude
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
