Educate group are working very closely with a wonderful school in Birkenhead who are urgently looking for a Year 6 Primary Teacher to commence a role starting immediately. The schools core values are “respect, responsibility and resilience”.

This is a temporary long term position until October 2026, but could potentially continue.

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and reliable Year 6 Teacher to join our team for a long-term role beginning immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for an fully qualified KS2 teacher to make a real impact during a crucial stage in pupils’ learning.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

Be a fully qualified Teacher who has completed their ECT year
Teach and inspire a Year 6 class through the spring, summer, and early autumn terms.
Prepare pupils thoroughly for end-of-year assessments and ensure strong academic progress.
Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that support a broad and balanced curriculum.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan, assess, and track pupil progress.
Create a supportive, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
Strong understanding of the UK curriculum and assessment expectations
Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
A passion for helping children achieve their full potential
