We are recruiting 2 Senior Support Workers to join an established 8-bed residential mental health service in the St Austell area of Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Support Worker who is ready to take on additional responsibility, develop their leadership skills and progress their career within mental health and social care. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play an important role within the day-to-day running of the service, providing high-quality person-centred support while helping to guide and support the wider team. You will work closely with residents, colleagues and other professionals to ensure individuals receive consistent, safe and compassionate support. Providing high-quality, person-centred mental health support Supporting residents with daily living, independence and wellbeing Taking a lead role during shifts Supporting and mentoring Support Workers Ensuring care and support plans are followed Supporting the smooth running of the service Helping maintain a safe, positive and supportive environment 14.00 per hour ~2 Senior Support Worker positions available ~ Full-time ~40+ hours per week ~ Waking night shifts available ~ Sleep-in shifts available ~ Permanent opportunities ~ Senior Support Worker | Senior Care Worker | Mental Health Support Worker | Support Worker | Residential Support Worker | Healthcare Worker | Healthcare Assistant Previous experience within mental health, residential care, supported living, learning disabilities or complex needs would be highly desirable. Experienced and confident within a care or support environment Confident taking responsibility during a shift Able to support and encourage other team members Passionate about providing high-quality care Looking to progress their career within mental health and social care A full UK driving licence is highly desirable, as a company vehicle is available for work-related duties.
